The site could be useful for the occasions when east winds spoil the soaring on the east coast. Defford is marked on the 1/2 mill and is also known as Croft Farm. It is near the M5/M50 junction which is the Tewkesbury (TEW) BGA TP. Note that the strip is rather narrow for gliders (18M) and that they ask for a donation to a charity if you land there.</p> <p>They <a href="http://www.wibbleweather.com/dslweather.php">run a webcam</a> (WeatherJack's site labels it as Pershore). The agreement has not made it on to the BGA web site along with the other dozen agreements yet but will do so very soon. This could be particularly useful for long flights and those visiting Edensoaring at Skelling farm.
