Friday

Well the verdict is in and sadly tomorrow (Saturday) isn’t going to be a whole different to Friday—-the front over the eastern half of the country will remain pretty much where it is. Fairly heavy rain is likely to develop over southeastern England tomorrow; pretty grim down there really. Wales and the southwest will get quite a lot of cumulus at around 3,500 ft; probably the same for northwest England too. Light winds from the north.

Sunday will have seen the eastern front curl up and move off south overnight leaving England fairly clear, but to the west a new front arrives which will have cirrus blowing off the top shading the country in places. Wales and northwest England will be worst affected; shouldn’t be too bad elsewhere though it could well be a blue day in most areas.

Monday sees that thread weakening and dissolving as it moves over the rest of the country so probably a bright day, but not a great for soaring even though high pressure (to our west) is now firmly in charge. Tuesday is a little uncertain given the range; again potential is there, depends on whether or not any cloud hanging around clears.
