Thursday
Back | HomeTomorrow’s (Friday’s) forecast isn’t straightforwards. A low will lie just south of Devon with a warm front reaching northeast across East Anglia (the cold front away over France). Rain in the southeastern quarter of the forecast area with showers affecting the southwest; cloudy elsewhere.
Saturday remains a bright dry day under a ridge. Probably more cloud in the west, but there should be some weak wave over that way. Surface winds light, generally less than ten knots from the west. Sunday looks wet in the west all day while the east may be dry in the morning for a while before the rain moves in.
Monday sees the last of that rain clear east leaving a showery day.

The AAIB investigation into the fatal collision between two gliders at Sutton Bank in October 2006 has been published. Worth reading with a lot of food for thought.
