Last day of OFCOM/FLARM consultation

Back | Home

Forgot to mention this before - today is the last day you can respond to a OFCOM consultation that covers the use of Short-Range Devices, including FLARM.

If you’d like to add your support to the use of FLARM, go to the response form, and for Question 4 put something like:

“I support section 6.8, bullet points 1 and 4:
“• to remove the restriction on airborne use for all SRD allocation listed in the SRD
Decision as amended;
“• non-specific SRD - add 863 - 870 MHz 25 mW allocation with low duty cycle
(0.1%) or LBT

This will allow the use of the FLARM glider mid-air collision prevention device which could save lives blah blah blah”
